Warmth for the day

Always needed, Always there
The Gauteng Regional Office and the Johannesburg Branch felt for the vulnerable homeless people. The cold weather prompted the Red Cross Staff and Volunteers to do something to help those in need. They went all out into the cold streets of Johannesburg dishing out warm soup and bread to the people.
We thank our Volunteers, Donors and Staff for such humane efforts.

Another Blaze Hits Alexandra

Always needed, Always there
Fifteen shacks were burnt in Alexandra and over two hundred people were affected. SA Red Cross Society Jhb was there to help the suvivors. We delivered blankets and clothing that we had received from 5FM, was an initiative by 5FM and Women's Show. Mr Ronnie Lawrence helped to identify charitable organisations. Fortunately we were chosen and we passed the goods to the identified beneficiaries. Help us to help those in dire need.
