Peer education for our Local councils

The johannesburg Metro Branch organised peer education training for our local councils, namely, Alexandra, Cosomo city, Diepsloot. the emphasis was on HIV/AIDS, Communicable diseases and TB. Miss S Msiza the regional TB Coordinator, Ms Asnath Mashiane, primrose Nkuna conducted the training and all funds and resources where provided by the branch.

Mrs Willy Terlingen handed Mr banda of the Johannesburg metro branch a cheque of R300 thanking the organisation for the good work they are doing. the SA Redcross Johannesburg branch donated first aid kits to the F.O.O.L.S Organisation to which Mrs terlingen belongs to. Through these trying times we find every cent helpful

Mrs Cynthia Moshoeshoe and Mma Tladi, as community organisers, were spotted delivering blankets ot the need in Kliptown. May their humble act of humanity be upon all of us.

Ms Freedom Ngobeni, was busy lecturing the elderly people on more information about our organisation, work and areas of operation. this helps the public on details about where to find us, how to request for help and what other serveces we offer as a humanitarian organisation. it is advisable that out dear volunteers, supporters and followers know more information about us

Community organisers, Mary Jones, Eric ,Emily Mthimkhulu attended a first aid course which was organised by Mrs Sina Ramakhula and was supervised by Miss Lucia Mokoena. The aim of the training was to equip them with much needed life support saving skills.

Putting children first

our johannesburg branch celebrated world childrens day with children at Zewenfontein informal settlement and sorroundong areas. we had the support of the Provincial local Governmenrt, Johannesburg Emergency Services and their ever dedicated Fire Department. We demonstrated first aid skills to all that were present. it was indeed a happy day for the children as they got closer to most of the people whom they have looked upon. it was all smiles as every departmant did their demonstrations.
